23 June to 22 July

Cancer is an inconspicuous constellation of the zodiac. The crab, as it is depicted, plays a minor role in the Twelve Labors of Hercules. The constellation is made up of relatively faint stars and is not easily recognized by the amateur star gazer. It is located between the better visible star signs of Gemini and Leo.
