22 May to 22 June

Gemini, the twins, is associated with the mythical characters Castor and Pollux. Both are the brightest stars in the constellation. Despite the high visibility, Pollux is 34 light years and Castor 49.8 light years away from earth. In 1930, astronomers found the planet Pluto within the Gemini constellation.
